Pulling up to the little house I’d spent my life saving for was surreal. It was finally mine. I had my own home. It was small with overgrown grass and a roof that had seen better days, but it was mine and I was more than excited.
I put the moving van in park and stepped out onto the curb. The entire neighborhood was nice, full of modern looking homes with trimmed grass and beautiful flowers, but this little guy, he was just perfect for me.
I opened the door to my new brick house and took a moment to take it in. While I’d seen this place more than a few times before now, this time was different. I stepped back out and headed to the van. With the amount of stuff I had and the lack of help, I was going to be working well into the night.
Tomorrow my furniture would be delivered and I’d be able to fully enjoy my new little home. “Guess I better get started,” I said to myself, opening the back of the van a grabbing a few boxes.
“Hey, new neighbor,” A friendly voice said from behind me.
I turned towards it and smiled. “Hi.”
Standing in front of me was a gorgeous man I’d only thought about during my me time. Tall, strong frame with muscles straining the fabric of his shirt and light hair falling slightly into his face, covering those beautiful blue eyes.
“You look like you could use a hand?” He said with a bright smile.
“I..” I wasn’t sure this was such a great idea. I mean this guy was a stranger and I’d be letting him into my house, but it would make the time go faster to have someone to talk to. “Sure,” I finally stuttered out.
He cocked his head to the side. “I have a dolly too.”
That was fortunate.
“Okay,” I said without thinking. He disappeared into his garage and came back with a furniture dolly laid on it’s side to make it larger and easier to move the boxes I had.
“Give me those,” he said, taking the boxes from my hands. I hesitated because these two boxes happened to have everything I used for my witchcraft. Having someone I didn’t know toughing them made me nervous. He seemed to see the hesitation in my eyes.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be careful with it,” he said holding out his hands for the boxes.
I didn’t fight him if it made things easier for me and if he was careful. This whole moving and house buying ordeal, while wonderful, was hard and it took a lot out of me.
He grabbed a few more boxes and grabbed some that wouldn’t fit on the top. “I’ll carry these, you push the dolly. Then we can get more in each trip.”
I did as he asked and we finished in about two hours. So much faster than if I’d been hauling in boxes on my own. That was a relief. Now I could roll out my sleeping bag and just sleep for twenty four hours.
I caught him eying me as I grabbed my sleeping bag from one of the boxes and carrying it to my bedroom.
“You don’t have a bed?”
“Not until my furniture comes tomorrow,” I said without thinking. That probably wasn’t what you wanted to say to someone you’d just met, but I wasn’t thinking through my exhaustion.
“I have a folding bed on wheels. I’ll bring it over for you,” he said.
“No, that’s okay.”
“I insist,” He said and walked out of the house before I could protest. I mean a bed would mean better sleep, but I didn’t want to take it from someone I didn’t know. Guess it didn’t matter now, this neighbor I didn’t know who was hot as hell was giving me a bed and I couldn’t stop it.
He came back a few minutes later pushing a fold out bed. I went over to help him and he waved me away. “I got it. It’s not even that heavy.”
I stepped back but still felt weird letting him do all the work, but he didn’t seem bothered. He pushed the bed into my room and unfolded it so it laid flat and was ready for use.
“Now all you need are blankets,” he said with a chipper smile.
“I’ve got plenty of those,” I said and sighed.
“I guess you’re good for the night, then,” he said and held out his hand. “I probably should have told you my name before coming into your home. I’m Caleb.”
“Paige,” I answered. If we were going to be neighbors, might as well know who each of us are. I shook his hand and something caught my eye. A symbol on the inside of his forearm I didn’t notice before. It looked familiar but I couldn’t place it. I stared at it for a moment before he seemed to realize I was staring at it.
“You saw my tattoo,” he said, sounding let down.
“I don’t know what it means,” I said with a shrug.
“It means a lot of things. For me, it’s family,” he said.
“Like a family crest?” I pushed, knowing I’d seen it but maybe if he gave me more information I could figure out where.
“Something like that,” He forced a smile and I instantly felt uneasy. “I should go. You need to rest and I need to eat.”
“Right,” I said and nodded. “Thanks again for your help.”
“You’re welcome, but don’t worry, you’ll pay me back soon,” he said with a wink and I stood there stunned as he walked out of the house.
What the hell does that mean?
I snuggled into the bed Caleb brought me and pulled my sleeping bag over me. I was tired, but it was weird being in a new place I didn’t know anything about. The sounds were all new and everything was just off.
I tossed and turned for a bit before the exhaustion finally just took me. Then the dreams started.
Hands on my body, pulling at my clothes and heavy breathing. Little nips in all the right places. I felt like I was suspended between what was the dream and what was real. My body tingled with need and this dream was giving me everything I wanted. Phantom fingers against my clit made me grab the sheets. My body responded as I rode this high between dreams and reality. Then phantom lips on mine, and I came so hard I thought I was going to float away.
I startled awake panting and still riding this high of orgasm. What just happened?
The night had already faded into early morning and the movers would be here soon. I pulled myself together and got the bed folded up and pushed to the side out of the way. I was grateful for the solid sleep minus the sex dream part, but I wouldn’t need it once my comfy queen sized bed arrived in just a few hours.
A knock on my door brought me out of my thoughts and I answered, thinking maybe the moving guys were here a little early. Standing at my door was Caleb with a oddly satisfied smirk on his face.
“Hey, I figured you wouldn’t need the bed tonight so I wanted to get it out of your way,” he said.
My body heated at the sight of him and I didn’t exactly know why. Yes, he was hot, but I just met the man and yesterday I was not reacting like a teen schoolgirl looking for a prom date.
I waved him inside. “I already got it folded up for you and pushed to the side. I didn’t realize you’d be here so soon.”
“I’m punctual like that,” he said, pushing the bed through the house and outside the door. “Are you alright? You look like you didn’t get a lot of sleep.”
I furrowed my brows and shook my head. “I didn’t.” There was zero chance of me telling him about why, even if the man asked.
“Um, it’s probably all the new house vibes,” he said with a laugh.
“Yeah,” I forced a laugh. Or it’s because I haven’t set up my protections around my home. Being a witch was weird sometimes. It’s not like I grew up in it, but when you lived alone, it was more important to protect yourself on the spiritual level as much as on the regular level.
“Okay, well have fun with your moving. I’m just next door if you need anything,” he said with a smile and pushed his bed over to his house. Finally my traitorous body calmed down and I could get back to my morning routine. At least what I could do without my furniture.
Thankfully, I’d kept my coffee pot with me and was able to make a nice cup of coffee to help me wake up. Soon, the furniture would be here and then I could work on those witchy things that were so important.
I knew there were other witches out there with better gifts then me, but I had a way with plants. I could make them grow anywhere in any season and get bigger crops than most people without magick. Of course that didn’t help in the witch world, so I stayed with more practical applications. But that was hard to explain to regular folks and was easier to keep to myself.
The rest of the day went rather fast. My furniture was delivered and I put my bed together first. The rest could wait a bit, but I needed my bed the one I’d gotten since I knew I was moving out of that tiny apartment I called home for six years and into my own larger space.
The sun faded fast and I still hadn’t gotten my protections done, but I was so tired. Maybe a quick salt protection. It would at least keep any demon out and protect me for a bit.
I slipped on my slippers and circled the house slowly in my only canister of salt, glancing around me just to make sure no one was paying attention. Especially, Caleb. That would be a weird conversation. But no one cared what I was doing and no one was paying enough attention to make me nervous.
I walked back in my house and locked the door behind me, setting the salt on the counter between my living room area and my kitchen, I headed back to the bed calling my name. I need some sleep tonight or things were not going to go well for me tomorrow.
I slid under my blankets and turned out the light, eager for sleep.
Instead I got something else.

I fell asleep quickly and again felt hands on my body. The blanket being pulled away. Phantom kissed on my neck, my chest, my stomach. I ached for them to continue, but something inside me sent alarm bells through me. I forced my eyes open.
Everything was quiet and the darkness of my room seemed to be that much more than when I’d fallen asleep just a few minutes prior. I glanced at my phone and realized it wasn’t a few minutes ago, it was hours.
Something was off. I could feel another presence in the room. “Whatever you are, show yourself,” I demanded.
“You sure you want that, little witch?” A gruff voice said from a corner in my room.
How the hell? “You’re a demon. You shouldn’t be able to get in here.”
He laughed and I felt myself shiver. “Oh there are ways,” he said, stepping into the light.
I didn’t move. It was like my body couldn’t decide if I wanted to panic or do something more.
He was large and a dark red color, and his form was nothing like the demon’s I ever learned about. His muscled chest was the first thing I noticed before my gaze traveled lower to his very erect cock and his pointed tail moving in annoyance behind his legs.
This wasn’t just a demon, it was very clearly an Incubus.
“You aren’t allowed here,” I said, making my voice as commanding as I could.
“But you let me in, don’t you remember,” he stepped forward and I pulled a blanket over my body. “Last night, when I ran my hands over your skin and you moaned for me. You begged for it and you didn’t even know it was me.” His almost human face smirked as he inched closer with each word, stopping at the foot of my bed. “That’s all it takes, little witch.”
“Nope,” I said simply. Honestly, I’d stayed so far away from the witches that dealt with demons, I had no clue if what he was saying was true or not, but it was fucking annoying.
He laughed and rested his hands on the bottom of my bed, like he was waiting to crawl up it and get me. Maybe a part of me was okay with that. What am I saying?
“You came by my hand and locked your pretty little body to me. No spell, or protection can break that.” He smiled. The light hit him just right and I could see the sharp canines.
“I don’t believe you,” I snapped.
“You will.” He crawled up the bed grabbing on of my legs and pulling me to him. “Now you’re mine.”
***
I shot up in my bed and looked around the room. The sun was streaming in and my alarm was getting ready to go off. It was just a dream. I caught my breath and rubbed my face. It was nothing more than a weird dream that wasn’t real. I was okay.
A sting on my ankle made me throw the blankets back. It was red, like I’d burned it somehow and the sting was horrible. I had to have hit it on something the day before. That was the only explanation. The alarm blared and I grabbed my phone turning it off. That was the last thing I needed right now. The internet guy would be here soon and I could actually start living normally and maybe do some research on what this dream meant.
Honestly, it was probably the fact it was so long since I slept with a guy. A manifestation of my hornyness. Yeah, that was it.
I got dressed and made myself a cup of coffee, relaxing as much as possible. That god damn spot on my ankle itched like crazy and I was starting to think it was a rash of some kind, but the redness just got worse the more I itched at it.
A knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts. Thinking it was the internet guy, I answered. Standing there was Caleb with two cups of coffee in his hand. I smiled, but didn’t move to let him in. Honestly, him showing up all the time was starting to get a little creepy.
“Hey Paige, I thought you might like a coffee from the place down the street,” he said with a big smile and I pointed to the cup in my other hand.
“I already have one, but thanks,” I said.
“Well, more for me then,” he said and glanced around the room. “You’re getting settled in nicely. I hope everything is going well for you.”
“Yeah, it’s good. I’ll have my internet today and ready to go back to work,” I said.
“Nice,” He sighed. “Well, if you need anything, you know where I live.”
“Yep, right next door,” I said with a slight laugh.
“And I mean anything,” He said, his gaze going down my body.
I cocked my head and forced a smile. Is he hitting on me?
“See you soon, Paige,” He said with a smirk and walked away. I stood there with the door open for a moment.
Was he flirting with me?

Chapter Three
I sat at my computer and looked at all the messages from work and sighed. I was going to be so behind when I got back on tomorrow. If ever there was a time to change jobs, this would have been it, but lucky me, I was moving.
I pulled up my search and looked for information about demons. More so, incubus demons. There was so much from witch accounts to the traditional stuff of when a person feeling paralyzed in sleep is attacked, but nothing about what they looked like and if it could happen in a complete dream state. Or worse if there was a way one could latch onto you and go through protections.
I wrote down the information I thought was best and the sigils that should work best in keeping them away. At least if there was something happening here, I’d be able to stop it maybe or get my mind to think I was safe and stop giving me these dreams.
My mind wondered to Caleb. He was pretty hot and he was for sure interested in me. Maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to go blow off some steam with him. The worst thing that would happen is some hot sex and some relief from these sex dreams with a demon.
I bit my lip and thought about it, my body ached to be touched and the more I thought about Caleb, the more I wanted to throw all sense to the wind and just go over there.
He did say if I needed anything to come over.
Fuck it.
I jumped in the shower and then put on some nice clothes that showed off my body. If I was doing this, I was going to feel good about it. I styled my dark hair and threw on some makeup. He’d already seen me at my worst and still seemed interested. Now, he was going to get the made up and ready to fuck version of me.
Pretty sure if he wanted me before, we’d be in his bed before I said two words this time.
I walked out of my house and stepped up to his front door. As soon as I got there, I was hesitating. Something felt off. Like my mind was screaming at me, but my body was begging me to knock on that door. To just let myself have this one thing.
The door opened before I could knock and Caleb was standing there in just a pair of dark jeans. I stuttered, unsure if I was making the worst choice on the earth or just letting my hormones get what they wanted.
“You look amazing,” he said, letting his eyes roam over me. “Did you decide you needed something?” He smirked.
“I mean, I guess I just wanted to hang out.” That was so lame.
He raised an eyebrow. “Oh, that’s completely doable.” He stepped to the side to let me in.
Guess this is really happening.

Chapter Four
His house was nice. It wasn’t what I expected when I stepped inside. The living area was smaller than my house which seemed odd since this place was so much bigger looking from the outside. The furniture was new but still seemed like it was well used. I glanced into his kitchen and it was well kept with new appliances and everything put away. For a bachelor, he was clean and seemed like he wanted to keep it that way.
“You have a nice place,” I said without thinking.
“I’ve had it for years,” he answered and smiled. “This place was where I really found myself.”
I nodded. It seemed like a weird thing to say, but okay.
“You want a drink?” He said, stepping towards the kitchen.
“Sure,” I said. Then I regretted it. There were so many reasons why that was a bad idea, but here I was, standing in the middle of a guys living room and I had no idea who he really was. That was the point right? Just get some sex and move on with my life.
He walked back with two drinks and smiled as he handed it to me. “Don’t worry, I didn’t do anything weird to it.” He chuckled.
“That’s exactly what you’d say if you had,” I said with a smile.
“I don’t need to do that.”
I almost choked on the drink. This guy was confident, but then again, here I was.
“We both know why you came here,” he said, sitting next to me. “Right?”
“Right to the point,” I said.
He slid his hand to my thigh and rested it there. “You want something I can give you.”
“Is that so,” I teased.
“I’m very willing to give it, but it will cost you,” he said with a smirk.
I watched him with confusion.
His hand drifted further up my thigh.
“And what is this cost?” I teased.
He smiled. “Everything you think you know about me,” he said before he pulled me him.
“I don’t know anything about you,” Is said and he chuckled.
“You know more than you think,” he said.
I watched him and my gaze fell to that mark on his arm. The one I knew I’d seen before and I remembered where.
That was a clan mark. Caleb wasn’t a man at all.
He was a fucking demon.
He grabbed my arm as realization ran across my face. When I looked back to him, he was no longer the man Caleb, but the demon who’d invaded my room last night.
He was the Incubus from my dream.
I pulled away and ran for the door, but it wouldn’t open. I banged on it until a sigil appeared on the white wood in the middle of it.
“You trapped me here,” I said without turning around.
“I told you it would cost,” he said, but the human in his voice was gone.
I spun and kept my back against the door. “You can’t just take what you want from people,” I snapped.
He raised his eyebrows, that smirk on his weirdly handsome demon face. I hadn’t noticed the dark horns on his head before and my eyes stayed there a little too long.
“That’s what we’ve been doing for years,” he said, leaning back on the couch. His demon form still had his pants on, thank god. I wasn’t interested in seeing that monster cock at the moment.
“You just steal women and-“ I waved my arms around. “You know.”
“Fuck them?” He smiled as he said that. “Well, you’re supposed to stay asleep, but yes.”
“I didn’t wake up,” I said.
He kept his eyes on me and cocked his head. “No, but you were too close to figuring it out. Damn witches.” He sighed. “You all taste so good, but are so hard to keep under a spell.”
“So now what? You’re just going to keep me in your house?”
“Maybe,” he smirked wider. “I haven’t decided yet.”
It didn’t matter how much I objected to this, he had me locked in this place. At least until I could figure out how to get this sigil broken. I felt around in my pocket for my phone.
“Looking for this?” He said, holding up my phone. “I’ll hang on to it for you.”
I shook my head. “Nope, give it back.”
“I think I won’t,” he said. “If you keep pushing for it, then I’ll just get rid of it all together.”
“What is the goal here?” I said.
“To keeping you?”
I narrowed my eyes at him and he laughed. He stood and strutted towards me. I had nowhere to go, so I held my composure the best I could. He stopped right in front of me, his tall muscled form towering taller than I even thought he was.
“To feed,” he said leaning his head down and letting his arm rest above my head. “To feel myself inside you.” His gaze dropped to my body. “You look like a good meal and I intend on having all of it.”
“Well, you can’t,” I said, my voice shaky. “Sure you can take what you want, but isn’t it better when I consent?” I was testing a theory from all the things I read earlier that day.
He leaned closer. “Don’t worry, you will.”
***
I felt my breath catch, but stared at him. He chuckled and stepped back. “If you’re not ready yet, that’s fine.” He was still leaning on the wall as he spoke. “I have all the time in the world.”
I slowly stepped past him and further into the house, feeling his eyes on me. I had no idea where to go, but there was no way I could stay in this room with him any longer.
A different level was even better than a different room, so I hurried up the stairs and heard him laugh slightly behind me. He was getting off me being trapped in his house, but he didn’t know how resourceful I could be. If the door wouldn’t open for me, maybe a window would and I could climb down and get the hell out of here.
I turned into the first room I saw. It was a smaller one with light green walls and a smallish bed. I closed the door and pushed the dresser against the wall in front of it. If he wanted to get in, he was going to have to make noise to do it.
I stepped back and glanced around for any kind of window that might be open. I saw a door to the left and opened it. There was a small bathroom with a shower and a basic sink. At least I could shower and use the toilet without going out there and dealing with Caleb. Is that even his name?
My mind raced to what I could do once I was out of here. I’d have to leave everything behind. Everything I’d worked so hard for and was so proud of. The fact I just happened to buy a house next to a literal demon was a turn of events I wasn’t prepared for in the least.
I walked to the window and pulled it open. Relief flooded me. The damn thing opened. I put my hand through and hit a barrier. Fuck
“Did you think I wouldn’t have the whole house protected?”
I spun around and glared at him. “How the hell did you get in here?”
He looked at me like I was really stupid. “Uh, my house, remember.” He stepped towards me and I put my hand out and shook my head.
“No, you stay over there,” I said.
He glanced at the dresser in front of the door. “You thought that would work, huh?”
“I don’t know,” I admitted. “I was hoping.”
“Were you really?” He said, that god damned smirk coming back to his lips. “I know how much you enjoyed my touch. You’re thinking about it now, aren’t you?”
“No,” I lied. He wasn’t wrong. Those phantom touches, light on my skin, my clit. It made me wet just thinking about it.
“Don’t lie to me.” He stepped closer, grabbing my outstretched hand. He yanked me forward and I fell into him. He grabbed my waist and held me there, my body dangerously close to his. “You saw all of me, the real me and didn’t shy away. I saw where your eyes went.”
“I have never wanted a demon,” I snapped. At least not until now. I couldn’t deny what he was saying. I had thought about that cock, if only in passing. It was one of the reasons I’d considered sleeping with Caleb, but that was when I thought he was human. This was a whole new ball game.
“Then why aren’t you fighting me?”
I didn’t have an answer for that. I should be. I should be kicking and biting and thrashing until this demon lets me out of this house, but I wasn’t. There was no reason for me to want to say like this, in his arms, against his hard body, but here I was, letting him hold onto me.
“Let me have you,” he whispered in my ear and kissed down my neck.
I turned my head slightly and whispered, “No.”
He groaned and let his hand slide down my body. “I should just take it.”
“But you won’t,” I challenged and he leaned back, his eyes dark and unreadable.
“Are you sure?” He said.
I studied him. He could have done it in the living room. There was more to this than just him getting a good meal, as he put it. No, there was something deeper I didn’t know yet.
“You won’t,” I said, holding his gaze. If I was being completely honest, I did want to just give in, to let him have everything he wanted. If the dream was any indication of how his touch would feel, I wanted it more than anything. But I also didn’t want to be held hostage. I needed time to get free and being fucked by a demon was the last thing I could give in to right now.
He pushed me back and grumbled to himself, his tail flicked behind him. Clearly he was not happy, but he complied. “Fine, for now,” He growled and pushed the dresser away from the door. “Keep my shit where it was.” He opened the door and walked out, slamming it behind him.
I sighed and let myself fall onto the bed to sit. This was not how I thought my night was going to go.
When I woke up, I was confused for a moment. I almost forgot where I was, but the smell of fresh bacon lured me out of my sleep. I crawled out of the bed and opened the door, the smell was strong and so good. My stomach grumbled and I had no choice but to go down there and hope I didn’t see Caleb’s stupid face.
No such luck. He was sitting on the couch in his human form again. I looked at him shoveling bacon into his mouth and rolled my eyes. Why had I thought he was so hot?
I turned into the kitchen and looked for a plate of bacon, but there was nothing siting there. “Did you eat all the bacon?”
“I made it,” he said, not looking my way.
I stared at him and he got up from the couch with what remained of it.
“Fine, but you have to do something for it,” he said with a smirk.
“I’m not having sex with you,” I said before he could even think about it.
“Not yet, but you will,” he said. “Actually, I want you to sit in here and talk to me.”
“Talk to you?” I sighed. “Fine.”
“See, so easy,” he smiled and handed me the plate. I hadn’t noticed the eggs on the other side of it.
“You made eggs too?”
“I thought you’d be hungry. When you didn’t come down right away, I was just going to finish it, but here you are.”
“You made this for me?” I said, still in disbelief.
He sat on the couch as I walked closer. “Don’t act so surprised. I’m not a complete asshole.”
“You don’t need human food,” I said, taking a seat as far from him as I could on the couch.
“No, but it’s tasty.”
I took a bite and he turned towards me. “Tell me about you,” he said.
The question was very normal in an abnormal situation. “Like what?”
“I don’t know. Who are you?”
“I’m a computer programmer and a witch, but you know that,” I ate another bite.
“The witch part is easy to spot, but what does a computer programmer do?”
“I make apps and web pages. It’s technical work,” I answered simply.
“And you grow things,” he said.
I glanced up at him. “I can. That’s part of my magick.”
“That’s why no covens came and snatched you up,” he said with a smile. “Lucky for me.”
“I told you I’-“
“Not having sex with me,” he finished. “I got it.”
“So, what’s the point in keeping me here, then?”
“I told you, you will eventually,” he leaned back and kept his eyes on me. “They all do.”
“You’re confident,” I remarked and he laughed.
“It’s just a fact.”
I took a bite and set my plate on the coffee table in front of him. “I’m done. Thanks for the food.” I stood and he cocked his head.
“Leaving already?”
“I said I would talk to you. I did. Now I’m going back to that room,” I said, pointing up the stairs. “Unless you’d like to let me go.”
“Not a chance.”
I shook my head and took a couple of steps before he said,”And tonight you won’t get a reprieve either. I just left you alone last night because I’m nice.”
I turned at glanced at him. “You’re a dick.”
“See you in your dreams, little witch.”

Chapter Five
I stayed in that room for as long as I could before creeping down to the kitchen again. I hoped he had something in there I could eat and waiting until almost night time was way better than running into him again.
I listened as I got closer to the living room area just to make sure he wasn’t sitting down there waiting to ambush me with sexual comments or his bare ass. I mean the later wasn’t as bad as the comments, but if he caught me looking too long, he’d take it as permission.
I shook the thought away and was relieved when the kitchen was empty of a certain demon. My stomach growled and I opened the fridge. To my surprise it was full of foods I liked. Fresh vegetables and my favorite yogurt.
When did he have time to get all this?
I pulled a sandwich and a yogurt out and closed the fridge. At least he wasn’t going to let me starve. My feet couldn’t get me up the stairs fast enough, but when I tried the door to the room I was staying in, it wouldn’t open.
“What the fuck?” I pushed on the door again, but it wouldn’t budge. I carefully made my way to the next one. Same thing.
Frustrated, I pushed a little too hard on the last one in the hallway and fell in face first, losing my yogurt, but managing somehow to keep my sandwich in my hands.
I pushed myself to my feet and realized I was standing in Caleb’s room. He was laying on the bed in his demon form with just a sheet over him.
“Oh look, you changed your mind,” he said with a smirk.
I gave him a look and grabbed my yogurt before turning towards the door. It slammed shut in my face. I tried the knob, but the dame thing wouldn’t open.
Caleb laughed like it was the best game of his life. “My house. My rules.”
“Seriously?” I turned on him and sighed in frustration and took a bite of my sandwich. I was too hungry to deal with his stupidity tonight.
“Well, if you’re not going to ‘hang out’ with me in the rest of the house, I guess you’ll do it in my room.” He patted the bed beside him. “Or my bed.”
I held up my food. “I’m starving.”
“So am I,” he said, keeping his eyes on me.
I felt a tinge of desire in my gut but ignored it. “I already told you.”
“Yeah, but now you have to sleep in the same bed,” he said.
“Do I?” I narrowed my eyes at him. “There’s plenty of floor I could sleep on.”
His face fell a little before he shrugged. “You have to sleep sometime and I recall, you like the way I touch you in your dreams.”
I forced a laugh. “That was because I didn’t know what it was.”
“And now you want the real thing, admit it.”
“Bite me,” I said in response. I’ve never seen someone throw a sheet off and jump up so fast. Before I could react he was standing in front of me, all six foot five of him, naked and pinning me to the door.
“You know I will,” he said with a smirk. It was a good thing I’d already finished my sandwich or it would have been all over the floor with the speed he pinned me there.
“You know what I meant,” I said, fighting to keep my composure as that demon cock pushed against me.
He lowered his head to my ear. “I can stand here all night against you, whispering how I an going to fuck you,” he said before his tongue licked my neck. “Or I can show you.”
I shuddered under him, but didn’t move. I couldn’t. This demon was too big for me to just fight off. He could keep me here all night and there was nothing I could do about it.
“I guess you’re one of those women,” he said with a chuckle. “Fine, I’ll tell you.”
I kept my arms over my body, the best I could.
“I’m going to start with small things first,” he said, kissing my neck. “I’ll kiss your neck and whisper in your ear.” He slid his hand around to my thigh. “Then I’ll slowly run my hand up your leg, just barely touching your skin, getting closer and closer until my fingers barely touch your sweet spot.” His hand slid closer and I fought the temptation to give in and let him do what he wanted.
“You play a good game, little witch, but I can feel how much you want me right now.”
My breath was catching with each light touch of his fingers even with me righting so hard to hold out.
“You’re going to make me keep going, aren’t you?” He groaned next to my ear. “Fine, do you want to know what happens next?”
“Yes,” I said without thinking and I felt the smile on his lips.
“I’ll take my time with you.

Chapter Six
I opened my eyes and Caleb was nowhere to be seen, but the door was open and I needed a shower. That sounded nice, A hot shower and then I’d find Caleb and find out how to move forward after this.
Grabbing my clothes on the way out the door, I found the main bathroom pretty fast. It was just down the hallway and had an amazing modern shower.
I turned on the water and hopped in. It felt amazing. The water was just the right temperature to make me not want to ever get out. The only thing I could think of was what happened last night. The way he made me feel and how he touched every part of my body over and over again.
I came here wanting a release and I got way more than I bargained for. The problem was there was this feeling I couldn’t shake. He was all I could think about and all I wanted. It was so strange considering we only knew each other for a few days before this. Everything about this whole thing was anything but logical.
My hand played with the water as I thought about it. I mean he was really good at this and he took care of my needs like I was the only person on his mind. He was an Incubus who should be getting his meals from everywhere. It was who he was, but everything last night gave me the feeling he only wanted to have me in his bed. Or he was a really good liar.
I turned the water off and dried as well as I could. I slipped my clothes on and headed downstairs for something to eat. I was starving and a part of me was hoping he’d decided to make some food for me again since he’d worn me out so much.
The minute I hit the living room, I knew something was wrong. There were too many people looking back at me and Caleb was stuck on the other side of the room.
“So, this is the witch who you’re giving up your clan for,” a very tall man with the same blondish hair Caleb had said, glancing from me back to him.
I stared at him, confusion all over my face. Caleb was an Incubus. He was supposed to have sex to live. Why would I be an issue?
“What’s going on?” I said, stepping further into the room. A second man, shorter and with darker hair stepped between me and the others.
“You don’t need to come any closer,” he spat.
I glanced at him and then at Caleb. “I don’t understand what’s going on.”
Caleb pushed the taller man off him and glared at him. “You have no control over what happens in this world, father.”
Father?
“Incubus don’t have mates,” he growled. “We fuck and we make demon half breeds. That’s our purpose.”
“Well, I guess I didn’t get the memo,” he said, throwing his hands up. “You know how it works. I don’t get to choose.”
Caleb’s father looked at me and then back to him. “Then I guess we’ll have to end it right now.” He stepped towards me before Caleb, now in demon form, slammed him back against the wall.
“No,” he growled and everything shook. The entire house felt like it was in an earthquake. I stepped back and bumped against the wall. “Mine.”
His father snarled at him. “You dare speak to me like this?”
“I rebuke your clan,” he said before letting his father go. “Get out of my house.”
They stood there for a minute staring each other down. I didn’t know if I should run and hide or stand my ground for him. I had a million questions and none of them were getting answered while his family was staring at me and fighting with him.
“You’re stripped of your clan,” Calebs father snarled. “You can never return to the demon world.” He glanced at me. “I hope she was worth it.”
Before I could blink, they were gone and it was just me and Caleb standing there.

Chapter Seven
“What was that?” I snapped, before I even moved.
“That was my clan,” he said. “Now I’m banished.”
I stared at him and he smirked, walking towards me and changing back into his human self. “I guess I don’t understand.” It was true. I didn’t know a ton about demon clans and what happens inside them. Very few witches did. Only the covens that had alliances with the demons knew how their politics worked and they were hard to get answers from if you weren’t in the coven.
“That pull you feel, that’s the mate bond.” He watched me as he spoke. “It’s very uncommon in Incubus, but it does happen.”
“So… We’re mates?” I said, still trying to wrap my mind around it. He was right, there was a part of me that cried out to be in his arms when we were apart. “What does that mean for me?”
“It means you’re under my protection,” he said. “And at my call.”
I raised an eyebrow and shook my head. “No. I’m not at your call.”
He rolled his eyes. “Still fighting me. Even after last night?”
“What, you think that was the best I’ve ever had?” I teased.
“It sounded like it to me,” he said, stepping closer. “How about a repeat?” He put his hands on the wall next to my head and I shook my head.
“No,” I said, even though I knew the minute he’d put his hands on me, I’d melt at his touch.
He let his hand travel down my shoulder. “Are you sure?”
I felt myself shudder at his touch. “If we start this again, we’ll never leave.”
“And that would be bad, why?” He leaned down and kissed my neck.
“I have a life and a job,” I said, but with each kiss he was trailing down my neck, I felt myself begging to give in.
He groaned. “Quit,” he said, giving me a gentle kiss on my collar bone.
“I can’t just quit. I have bills,” I said, fighting to keep myself from just giving in.
“No, you don’t. Everything is paid for,” he said, letting his hand go to my waist.
“What?” I said, I just bought my house there was no way it was paid off that fast. I had decades of payments left on it.
“I paid everything this morning,” he said, his hand sliding higher on my stomach. “Now, you have all the time in the world and I can eat my fill.”
I met his gaze. “Why would you do that?”
“Because you’re mine and I want you to be happy,” he said. “So let me make you happy.” He smirked. “And I’m ready for breakfast.”
The End…
